While that might be how it is in some houses... I'm just happy when I hear my kids say "Please & Thank You!" I must say that despite the lack of manners at our dinner table, I do try to teach them correct etiquette (for when we're out in public!) Not your Grandmas Spectacles...

Yep, these are cool.

I've never been a big earring lover. I tend to stick to my simple tiny little hoop earrings & call it good. But as soon as I got my package in the mail from Genuine Accents, the hoops were very quickly replaced with these totally cool Tear Drop earrings. I haven't ever seen anything like them & I love how unique they are. Actually most of this shop is made up of incomparable accessories that I'm sure you'll love. Did I mention how great the prices are?... Well you'll just have to see to believe:)

Zebras On the Go

I’m thinking of a jungle complete with waterfalls, overgrowth of trees and plants, and the occasional monkey sound… “squeak” (is that how they sound, weird.) All at once, a black and white striped horse runs through the jungle vines straight towards—wait, wrong scene. I’m thinking of a Serengeti-type setup. That is where zebras come from. Simply Mesmerizing...

There's not too many things I can just sit and look at for hours. Who would have thought that I could be so mesmerized with a recycled can? I find the designs at Mariposa Avenue so simple & relaxing to have plugged in at night. Everything from nightlights to lamps, there are so many lovely textures and colors to choose from. Who puts carpet in the dinning room?

We've lived in a few apartments & 2 of them had carpet under the kitchen table. I always dreaded having dinner because I always knew I was going to be scrubbing up spaghetti off the floor when we were finished. I wish I would have known about these Splat Mats from Chalkydoodles. One side is made from oil cloth that makes it so easy to wipe up a mess & so much healthier than the dirty floor to have your kids play on. But wait... how cool is this?... The dreaded flight

My kids have been traveling on planes since they were babies. Most of the time they do pretty good but on occasion there has been some moments where they just can't seem to to sit still. Where' s a clip when I need one?

I don't know what it is but I cannot for the life of me keep from losing hair accessories. So at night when I go to wash my face, of course I can't ever find one. That's why the Tassi is so cool! It's like a headband, only wider and it pulls back ALL your hair. It's made from terry cloth & comes in tons of fun colors. I have to admit when I first wore my Tassi, my kids laughed for like 10 minutes and they all had to take turns wearing it! They thought it was pretty funny...But at least, there's no more facial cleanser in my hair & I always know it will be hanging on the door, right where I left it:)
