I have a tie fetish. Let me explain before you pass judgment. When I was 19, I went to England for two years, and when I left I took 12 ties with me, because I would be wearing ties everyday. When I came home two years later, I had 74. There is something about ties that I love.

I'm a horrible singer. In fact, the one and only time I sang Karoke, they tried to pay me to STOP singing! So the only time I sing, is in my car (my poor kids are strapped in and have no way out) & now my new found love, Rockband 2. Although fully compatble with Rockband, if you haven't grabbed the newly released Beatles Rockband game, you're missing out on a chance to let your true self shine. Yes, my family of 5 loves to gather around the TV & rock! There's 3 mics to cover the newly added 3 part harmonies, guitar, bass & my husband's favorite, drums. But mostly while the boys are rockin the house, I'm rockin da mic! Yes, me & believe or not I got 100% 2x's on vocals... guess listening to The Beatles so much in the car on trips has paid off, only now that my boys have learn ALL 45 songs from the game, they can sing right along with me.

Well I can't say that would be something I would condone but I am a fan of Blush, topless undershirts! I love the layered look and I hate it when my shirt rides up, so most days I don't leave home without wearing some kind of undershirt. Although, Blush is not at all like regular undershirts because they're basically missing the top half, only it's brilliant because there's way less bulk and the whole world doesn't have to see you're wearing low rise jeans. And yes, they're totally adjustable and keep in place. So my suggestion is to buy one for your non pregnant self and one for your pregnant friend, because yes... they come in maternity sizes too! Hit the deck

This is by far my favorite thing so far. The guys down at BoardPusher.com have such an awesome product. Create your own custom deck design for skateboards or longboards. They have a great and fast service, perfect for your own minds creativity or a gift for someone you know. The possibilities are pretty much endless with your options. You could even make a sketch of your grandma and have her put on the bottom of your deck! I'm not sure what could be better. On top of that, these decks are high quality, 100% Canadian Maple, 7-ply. Chances are, if you don't skate yourself, you know someone who does, and they can tell you these are great decks. I've skated for a few years and believe me, these aren't some cheap knock offs. Spend some time and mess around with the decks and your graphics and see what you come up with. Just mind yourself, its addictive.

Swimwear Issues

We featured Hapari in our Swimsuit Guide but I thought I'd share some the other lifesavers they have available as well. One is the junior boys swimwear, or the Captains Quarters. We spend most of our days at the pool in the summer and let's just I've seen my fair share of plumbers crack. These eliminate the need for wearing extra underwear under their swimsuits and keep any uncomfortable situations from happening. Way cool prints & a little extra style added:)

Mother's Day is quickly approaching and I have been dropping little hints as to what's on my wish list to my husband. Jamal: Buddy Buddy Buddy, Buddy Hooly, why is it you no longer play the guitar?

Buddy Hooly: Jamal, you are so ignorant. You of all people should know it is no longer feasible for me to play the guitar. Ever since the day I went to the beach and headed out to the waves to body surf in sunny San Diego—by the way, what do you call a waffle on the beach?

Jamal: What?

Buddy Hooly: What what? Answer the question. Say you don’t know.

Jamal: Okay… I don’t know.

Buddy Hooly: Ha, you are so ignorant. You call it a sandy eggo… a s-a-n-d-y e-g-g-o… get it? A San Diego?

Jamal: You are so strange.

Buddy Hooly: As I was saying, body surfing, I caught an amazing four-footer and on the way in I felt something latch onto my cheap swim trunks, you know the ones, with the built in mesh underwear…

Jamal: I know the ones.

Buddy Hooly: Well I never found out what it was, probably like a great white or something strong like that; that would explain why I wasn’t able to shake free from its muscley grasp. Long story short, I jabbed my fingers extremely hard on the ocean floor and am no longer able to play.

Jamal: First off, there was no great white—

Buddy Hooly: Yes! There was! And I know why too.

Jamal: Oh really, and why is that?

Buddy Hooly: Obviously he/she/it didn’t like my lame shorts. I know exactly how this unfortunate mishap could’ve been avoided. Only if I had some wicked-rad board shorts from Matix, with their ‘100% polyester supersuede material, fitted upper-body, with 4way stretch lower-body. Mesh flow-thru crotch panels. Velcro-free fly. Contour fitted waistband, and reverse coil garaged zipper pocket’ (don’t ask why but I spent so much time looking at their trunks I memorized their description) this whole ugly and disgusting mess could have been avoided. But now that I’m set on their trunks, I’ve added the rest of their clothes too. If it’s good enough for Rodney Mullen, it’s good enough for everyone.
