My closet hooks love bags as much as I do. I think my husband is getting sick of me telling him "a girl can never have to many bags".... or shoes as far as I'm concerned! Was it that long ago?

Man, I loved Dottie from the Rockford Peaches! Yes, A League of Their Own
is another movie that has gone down in the book for being one of my all time favorite shows. I was 12 when it came out & I remember thinking how cool the women were, taking over for the men & doing what they had to do. My husband loves candy and unfortunately has passed that craving down the line to my boys. I wore my Red Hots ring that I got from Daisy Chains the other day and my 2 two year old was determined to get it off my finger! He apparently doesn't know red hots candies are HOT! "I love that book!"

When our box of books from Barefoot Books arrived, my boys were so excited. It was like Christmas all over again. As soon as I pulled out The Gigantic Turnip, hands down this book got voted to be the first one read. Brace yourselves for some rollin around kinda laughter as you read through the tale of a farmers enormous turnip & his quest in removing it from the ground. Full of peculiar illustrations & accumulating friends, by the end of the book the whole family will be reading along. Not to mention the laughter that will take place. But of course, it was the kids rolling around laughing, not me:)

Please tell me you've seen Goonies?! It's only one of the greatest movies from my childhood! Even though this really cool pirate ship from f. is for Frank is named after the movie, I wish I could say it was the first thing that came to mind when I fist saw it. But really I was thinking how excited my son would be to have these on his dresser drawers! Designed and completely made and finished by f. is for Frank, you've got to check out these for the next bedroom makeover. Move over scarf

I'm still a fan of scarfs but not so much of all the bulkiness that comes along with them. Kiwi and Company has designed the cowl. Same idea but without the fly away tails that you always have to tuck in with a scarf. Let's just say I fell in love with my cowl immediately! When is arrived & nicely packaged, I quickly had to try it out. It was made so lovely and with the softest wool yarn ever. It doesn't irritate my neck & it's very versatile. I love that I can wear it several different ways... depending on my mood at the moment. This cool Etsy designer is most definitely a favorite! For you talented knitters out there, try out her patterns and make one to fit your own style:)

It's winter around here & I'm really missing the flowers in my front yard. All tucked in

I can't tell you how many times I've wished for a night of peace in quiet, a hot bath, all snuggled up with my "laptop" by the fire. Yes, unfortunately I don't have a fireplace but it's actually ok because I've found this amazing Karen Neuburger Double Plush Robe. If the words "Double Plush" aren't descriptive enough, just imagine what it would be like wrapped up in a cloud.... now you know why I love this robe some much. So much, that I have a had such a hard time getting ready in the morning because I just don't want to let it go:)

Even the beads

The red glass beads were what first caught my eye on this little number & then I found out Boulder Glass Company also hand makes all the beads used in their design as well. There's a lot of jewelry designers out there, but how many of them can actually say they also make their own materials? Hot Lava is the perfect name for this ring. Not only does it look "hot" but it certainly will flow with your finger;)
