I made the mistake once...

When I was dating my husband I once told him I would way rather have him spend money on a gift that I really wanted, rather than spend money on a bouquet of flowers that wasn't going to last. Why such words came out of my mouth, I have not a clue. I absolutely LOVE waking up in the morning and seeing fresh flowers on my kitchen table, but of course I have to buy them myself because I opened my big mouth one time... So honey, here's a hint. When you see these clever cards from California Cut Flower Commission laying around & even hidden in your sock drawer, it means I TAKE BACK THOSE CRAZY WORDS I SPOKE ALMOST 10 YEARS AGO & they really are HINTS I want you to buy me flowers!     Now, I'm the one with the husband who doesn't usually think about flowers ever and yet, he knows I loooove them. It's gifts like this that I get, "So, I got you workout clothes b/c I thought you wanted to start working out..." Hmmmm... good thing I am a little person or I might have been real upset!

    I completely love getting flowers too... and I had no clue that this was probably why I nver get them, My trick, when I go to the store I ask my kids if they want to buy me flowers... and then when they go to the store with their dad.. they will ask him if they can buy some for me!! ;o)
